The new winter menu has been put in place at Yarragon Hotel this past week bringing with it some beautiful dishes such as 12 hour slow roasted lamb shanks and steamed mussels. Changes to vegetable supplies over the colder months have lead most of the changes with Chef bulking up the dishes with plenty of winter vegetables, curry sauces and breads. The lamb shanks and mussels are both served with bread to mop up the juices…what winter is all about. Chris and Keith have been lighting the fire in the lounge each Thursday, Friday and Saturday night and with some great reds on the wine list it is especially cosy in the Hotel this time of year.
